As a diehard genealogist and Delaware Valley resident, I have forever been in awe of the sheer quantity of early American graves and cemeteries in my own backyard. Many of these grave markers have become the only tangible evidence of an individual’s existence and these fragile documents are weathering at an alarming rate!
For fear of losing our American ancestors’ heritage, I am setting out in an effort to document (as quickly as I can) the early cemeteries of South Jersey, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York. I have quit my full time rat race career to devote my energy to saving American history.
This is my gift to my proud fellow descendents who revere the effort our ancestors took to painstakingly preserve the memory of the ones they so dearly cherished
Please note that I am currently doing research in in the Tri-State area of NY, NJ & PA and have not yet visited cemeteries in other states.
