It is my goal to fill genealogists' scrapbooks & hearts with free research.

However-

my personal funds are rapidly dwindling and

I am running out of the resources I need to continue my work.

When I began, I did not consider the costs of funding such a project.

Gas, tolls, website maintenance & domain name, batteries, cheap motels, & even a bodyguard to escort me into scary inner-city areas are costing much more than I imagined.

Many genealogy services require memberships to defer their costs.  Although the idea has been presented to me as an option, I am loathe to accept it.  I am an army of one and spend every waking hour traveling, photographing cemeteries & maintaining my site.  It would be impossible for me to maintain a databank of memberships as well.

In order to keep my site free and ever expanding, I am appealing to those who are as passionate about American history as I.
